This
weekend is intentionally challenging, but is open to all who wish to
explore yoga as an evolutionary journey. The only ‘requirement’ is
that you show up, do your best and let your best be good enough. Come
prepared to sweat.
The
goal of yoga is to get us in touch with the sweetness, the beauty, the
sacredness of life. The principles of yoga are the means for
accomplishing that goal. Over the course of this weekend, we will
explore these principles which when applied at home, work, or on our
mats brings us in alignment with the well-being that surrounds us —
and with our own true nature.
Each session will
include a powerful combination of vinyasa yoga, pranayama, and meditation
practice. Yoga Alliance credit is available for all sessions. We
recommend six months yoga experience for attendance. |
|
COST
$175 through 12/21, $190 after 12/21. You can also
pay for individual sessions: Friday $55, Saturday $75, and Sunday $65.

SCHEDULE
FRIDAY
-- (6-8:30 p.m.) OPEN MIND -- "Learning takes
place only in a mind that is innocent and vulnerable." -- Krishnamurti.
This session will explore the cultivation of an open mind and
inner stillness.
SATURDAY
-- (1-4:30 p.m.) INTENTION -- "Intention organizes
its own fulfillment." -- Deepak Chopra. In the first session
we cultivated inner stillness. In this session we will learn to
hold our attention on that stillness, and find that when we do so, we
experience vivekaja jnanam, or vivid true knowledge.
SUNDAY
-- (1-4 p.m.) EXTENSION -- "it is a
matter of listening inwardly for guidance all the time, and then
daring enough and trusting enough to do as you are prompted to do."
-- Erich Schiffman. This session will be dedicated to
'living from the center of our wheel' on our mats and in our lives. |
